This Privacy Policy explains how Exerciz (“Exerciz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Exerciz mobile application (the “App”) and related services. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

Exerciz is a workout-routine builder for iOS. Sign-in is by phone number or email address (using a one-time verification code). You can create and schedule routines, run guided timed workout sessions, record your own exercises, browse and share community routines, and track your workout history and stats.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

Category	Examples
Account & identity	Phone number or email address (used to create and secure your account and to receive a one-time verification code).
Profile	Optional name, gender / body-model selection, age range, fitness level, preferred instructor, preferred weight unit, and weekly workout goal.
Fitness content	Routines you build, schedules, warm-up/cool-down choices, custom exercises you create, and any exercise videos you record.
Activity & history	Completed workout sessions, including duration, estimated calories, and completion progress.
Feedback	Ratings and feedback you submit after a workout.

Information collected automatically

Basic device and diagnostic data (e.g., app version, device model, crash and performance logs) used to keep the App reliable.
Identifiers required to operate authentication and to sync your data across your devices.

The App does not collect your precise location, and we do not sell your personal information.

Optional connected services

If you choose to connect a music service (e.g., Spotify) to play playlists during workouts, that connection is handled by the third-party service under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your music-account password.

3. How we use your information

To create and secure your account and verify your phone number.
To provide core features: building, scheduling, and running workouts; saving history and stats; and AI-generated routine suggestions based on the signals you provide (such as energy level and available time).
To sync your routines, profile, and history across your devices.
To enable community features when you explicitly choose to share a routine or exercise.
To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the App.
To comply with legal obligations.

4. Service providers we use

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the App. They process data only to provide their services to us:

Provider	Purpose
Google Firebase	Phone authentication, cloud database (Firestore), file storage, and remote feature configuration. See the Firebase Privacy and Google Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare R2 / CDN	Hosting and delivery of the exercise library and instructor media. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Apple	App distribution and, where you enable it, device features and notifications. See the Apple Privacy Policy.

5. How your data is stored

Your profile, routines, and workout history are stored in your account in the cloud (Firebase) and cached on your device.
Custom exercise details may be backed up to your iCloud account; large custom videos you record stay on your device and are not backed up unless you explicitly share them.
A routine or exercise becomes visible to other users only if you explicitly choose to share it to the community.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

7. Your rights and choices

Access & correction: view and edit your profile and content in the App at any time.
Deletion: request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (see below).
Sharing controls: unshare any routine or exercise you previously shared.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing. We honor applicable rights requests.

8. Children’s privacy

Exerciz is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) and authentication, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
